Leave This House
The little farmhouse at Breadalbane had been our home for sixteen years. To the neighbours, it was the old Bismark Cousins place, and had known other families before us. When it came time leave, our own family saga within its walls was remembered.

Lyrics
Too many dreams
Too much laughter
Too many old ghosts
Living in the rafters
How can I begin to leave this house

Too many neighbours
Too much blind faith
Too many babies carried through the doorway
How can I begin to leave this house

Chorus:

I don't want to leave this house
Pay the cost of moving out
The best part of my family life
Is here and nowhere else
So how can I begin to leave this house

Too many long walks
Too much music played
Too many blessings around the kitchen table
How can I begin to leave this house

Too many bad storms
Too much waiting
Too many gentle gifts of love not taken
How can I begin to leave this house

Repeat Chorus Twice

I stood on the front step
Thought about you
Remembered more than I ever wanted to
And listened to the night wind
In the yellow transparent trees
